Sometimes I don’t get to the gym, most of the time it’s inconvenient to drive there, and life just happens. I kept feeling like I was wasting my money by keeping my membership, so I found an alternative. PLUS, I don’t have that mommy guilt, feeling because I’m leaving my babies to get a workout session.
We often have days when we don’t want to drive to far, but definitely want the kids to run their energy out, and I want to effortlessly use my camera. Hiking through Vasquez Rocks has become our new family workout and photography hot spot. My boys get to play outside, jump over things, find lizards and enjoy the moment. There’s been many days when I feel overwhelmed with keeping my house tidy, clean and organized. The truth of it, I’m not tidy, clean or perfectly organized. I’m a working mom with two boys under the age of 4 years old and a husband who loves to ride his motorcycle and enjoys playing guitar. In the past, I would come home from work and feel so damn annoyed when I saw toys in the living room, a messy countertop and simply…a chaotic house. I wasn’t enjoying the simple things. Lately, I’ve said…Fuck it!
With that type of attitude, I’ve become happier!

This year we got a little worried that the rain was going to ruin Zachary’s 1st Birthday so we changed plans from an outdoor park celebration, to an indoor trampoline cosmic party! Best decision ever!
